For those individuals who have hearing loss, going through a pharmacy can be an overwhelming experience not being able to hear the pharmacist as clear as possible – especially when discussing important medical information. Meijer stores have installed hearing loops at select pharmacy counters in 11 stores throughout Michigan.  This system works by amplifying sounds to people wearing a hearing aid or cochlear implant equipped with a T-coil -- allowing for a much higher quality of sound.
